$3.75

Fall Digital & Printable PBL Math Project

Looking for an engaging, differentiated, and challenging project-based learning task to enrich your students? This is a perfect Fall math challenge for students who need a challenge or enrichment, and they'll love getting to run their own pumpkin patch!

Students will love getting to work within a budget to plan their pumpkin patch - the activities, food, and pumpkins they'll offer. You'll love the enriched math practice they get along the way! Students will practice addition and subtraction while learning to work within a budget. They'll finish the project by creating a brochure about their pumpkin patch, complete with a map inside!

This includes both Printable & Digital versions for Google Slides and Seesaw.

 HERE'S WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Teacher Tips and Instructions

Engaging Letter: Get students excited about this project by putting the letter in an envelope and ripping it open along with students!

Brainstorming Page: A brainstorming sheet for students to think about a trip to the pumpkin patch and everything they can remember.

Menus: There are 2 sheets included that display the options students have to pick from for activities, treats, and pumpkins. These display the prices for each thing - there are differentiated options included, and an editable version as well.

Planning Sheets: Differentiated planning sheets are included. Students will calculate the total they've spent and adjust their purchases to fit within a budget.

Reflection Questions: Reflection pages are included. Students will answer questions about what it was like working with a budget and what they might do differently next time.

Pumpkin Patch Brochure: Students will create a brochure about their pumpkin patch and set prices for their pumpkins. They'll also create a map of their pumpkin patch with color and cut pictures they can glue onto it (drag and drop pictures available in the digital version).

*You can differentiate this even further by setting different budgets for your students to work with.
