⭐ HERE ARE THE TASKS STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE:
•The Animals: Students use addition/subtraction within 100 or 1,000 (differentiated) to purchase animals for their pet store
•Pet Store Layout: Students measure the different animals with an inch ruler, and use the measurements to set up and plan the layout of their store.
•Pet Shop Owner's Schedule: Students create a schedule for feeding and caring for the animals. Students will practice elapsed time.
•Ordering Supplies: Students need to order food and supplies for their animals. They must make sure they order enough by using arrays, multiplication, addition, and subtraction to answer challenging questions.
•Pet Accessories: Students help kids in the store count their money and make decisions about what they can and can't afford. Students practice counting, adding, and subtracting money.
•How's Business?: Students examine data about different pets that were adopted and create a bar graph using the data. Students answer questions and make business decisions based on the data and bar graph.
