 HERE ARE THE TASKS STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE:

•The Petting Farm: Students use addition and subtraction to select the animals that will be at the petting zoo, can challenge them by giving them a budget to follow.

•Spring Festival Activities: Students create a schedule of activities they'd like to participate in at the Spring festival.

•The Garden Store: Students travel to different task cards helping customers count their money. They'll also use addition and subtraction as they answer word problems about what they can and can't buy.

•Build a Bug Jar: Students travel to task cards and observe and record different fractions about other students' bug jars.

•The Great Tulip Contest: Students measure the contestants' tulips in inches or centimeters, record their information, and answer some measurement questions.

•Strawberry Patch: Students help the owner of the strawberry patch create a bar graph about how many visitors came each day and then make business decisions based on the data.
