Students will practice addition and subtraction while learning to work within a budget. They'll finish the project by designing their own spinner and popper and will write to convince their teacher to allow fidgets in the classroom. ! Engaging Letter: Get students excited about this project by putting the letter in an envelope and ripping it open along with students!

Brainstorming Page: Brainstorming sheet for students to think about different spinners and poppers they have seen.

•Planning Menus: These menus displays the prices for spinners, poppers, and storefronts - there are differentiated options included, and an editable version as well.

Planning Sheets: Differentiated planning sheets are included. Students will calculate the total they've spent and adjust their purchases to fit within a budget. They need to follow certain guidelines.

Reflection Questions: Reflection pages are included. Students will answer questions about what it was like working with a budget and what they might do differently next time.

Persuasive Writing: Students will write a letter to their teacher persuading him/her to allow fidget spinners and/or poppers in the classroom.

Design your own Popper/Spinner: Students will get creative and will design their very own fidgets to sell in their store. Students will name their fidgets, describe them, and will designate a price as well.

Create an Advertisement: Students will market their fidget store by creating an advertisement to encourage shoppers to come on in.
