This Christmas money and addition activity is engaging, fun and challenging! This fun Ugly Christmas Sweater math craft is differentiated for your students, and they'll love these addition task cards!
Your students will travel to 18 Ugly Christmas Sweater task cards and add up the cost of their sweaters on the included recording sheets. Students will look to their menus to find the cost of the various clothing items and accessories. There are DIFFERENTIATED menus included to help target all of your learners. One menu has simple two digit numbers (ex: 22₵), and the challenging menu has three digit numbers (ex: $3.38).
Students can finish the activity by designing and creating their own Ugly Christmas Sweater! Extend the activity by displaying the sweaters in the hallway and allowing students to vote on the most creative, silliest, and ugliest Christmas sweaters!
